THE TRAILBLAZERS
A National Level Writing Competition
on the occasion of
National Youth Day
The Trailblazers 2026 continues Youthisthan Foundation’s flagship youth writing journey, a tradition that began in 2022 to honour the spirit of youth awakening that Swami Vivekananda envisioned for India. Observed throughout January as the Month of Youth, this national-level initiative invites young minds to reflect deeply and write with a sense of responsibility toward the future.
This year’s theme, “Letter to the Future,” encourages participants to pause amid the urgency of the present and speak to a time yet unseen. Rooted in the belief that ideas shape nations before actions do, The Trailblazers offers students, writers, and young changemakers a space to articulate hope, courage, doubt, and duty—qualities that quietly define youth leadership.
Whether you arrive to read voices from earlier editions or to contribute your own, The Trailblazers 2026 is an invitation to think beyond applause and write with purpose. Because the future is not only built by action, but first imagined by those who dare to think deeply today.
